We offer themed birthday parties for children of all ages in our fenced-in courtyard at Storybook Studios. Not only do the kids have a great time, but the parents have the opportunity to receive custom fine-art portraiture of their children.

Thumbelina Party Package: (max. 8 children) $45/child
• 2 Hours of party fun where we will provide the arts & crafts, sidewalk chalk, bubbles (Party Host not included)
• No food included. You are welcome to bring your own food/cake/drinks
Woodland Fairy Party Package: All Inclusive (max. 12 children) $499
• Includes tableware, decor, party favors and activity for 12 children
• Party favors include fairy wings, fairy wands and tutus
• Our resident fairy "Sparkle" guides the party thru singing, story time & games)
• Woodland Fairy Scavenger Hunt (with take-home treasures) & other games
• Mini Fairy Portrait Session for the birthday girl/boy (parents can add-on additional mini portrait sessions)
• Photography of entire party events
• Birthday Cake or Cupcakes provided (or if you want to bring the birthday cake, we can provide the snacks)
• You can sit back and relax, we take care of everything!

There is an extra fee of $200 for new themes, where we have to purchase new sets and costumes.
FAQs:
WHERE DO YOU HAVE THE PARTIES? We have a beautiful enclosed courtyard attached to our studio.
HOW DO I RESERVE A DATE? The deposit is half of the party package price. If you are doing the Thumbelina Party Package, you would estimate the number of expected attendees and if it turns out to be more/less, we'll take care of it the day of the party.
WHAT IS THE PARTY TIMELINE? To ensure we stay within our two hour time limit, we've established a party schedule. As guests begin to arrive, the kids will make their way outside to our courtyard for party fun. About an hour into the party, we will take an intermission for (cake, presents, etc.), while the photographer captures candid birthday memories. While the kids continue to play, we will finish any mini-sessions that parents have purchased. After the party, we will cleanup and schedule your viewing session before you leave.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR PORTRAITS? It is required that the birthday party parent schedule to come back to view the portraits. After viewing and selecting your favorite images, we will work together to pick out any purchasing options. Anything not purchased on this day, will be discarded. Therefore, it is important that all decision makers attend this appointment because this will be the only day you can purchase your portraits.
All orders will be available to be picked up at the studio, approximately 3-4 weeks after your viewing appointment.
THE INVESTMENT
Storybook Studios specializes in custom wall art and home decor. We are not your typical photography studio. Our goal is to provide you with heirloom treasures, to be passed down through generations. These fairytale portraits of your child will be fine art to treasure for you and your family. Prices are subject to change without notice but current pricing at the time of booking will be honored. We offer A La Carte prints that start at $50 and print and collections that start at $149.
DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL FILES?
While we do offer digital images in our larger packages, we believe in creating true art pieces that won't be forgotten in a desk drawer and lost forever. We care about your portraits being around for generations. That being said, our digital packages start at $999 (birthday party special).
CAN PARTIES BE RESCHEDULED?
Parties may be rescheduled with 48 hour notice. Your deposit may be forfeited, if no advance notice is given. In case of bad weather, we move everything inside the studio. In case of hurricane, tropical storm, snow, etc., we can reschedule to another date.
IS THERE FOOD PROVIDED?
Food is only provided with the Woodland Fairy Party Package. It includes your choice of snacks and drinks or a birthday cake.
IS THERE A HOST INCLUDED?
The Pixie Fairy party host is included in the Woodland Fairy Package.
WHAT IS A MINI SESSION?
A mini session is about 10-15 minutes, versus a full session, that is about 30 minutes.
WHAT IF WE HAVE MORE THAN 12 CHILDREN? If you would like to have more than 12 children, there is a fee of $25 per extra child.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
The address is 1320 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake 23320 (corner of Kempsville Road and Volvo Parkway - behind 7-11). If you're using your GPS, make sure to put 23320 in or it will take you to Virginia Beach. It's in the Shoppes at Plantation Woods, Suite 108, beside Yu-Mi Sushi.
